During ten years of pro-active safety initiatives, including monthly field-wide meetings attended by upper management, vendors, partners, and community representatives, Eagle Valley Energy determined that we must create, and be a part of a CULTURE OF SAFETY.  As part of this overarching culture, we strive to use the tools and education necessary to live and work in a safe environment.  Among those, STOP WORK AUTHORITY is granted to every individual on an Eagle Valley operation.

One of the most important realizations from the numerous discussions at our meetings was the link between SAFETY, RESPONSIBILITY, QUALITY, PROFESSIONALISM, and ETHICS.  Workers who are unprofessional, who bring poor quality to the workplace, and behave in an unethical manner are statistically more prone to be involved in, or the root cause of an unsafe circumstance.
